Veloz is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment. The successful candidate will automate and streamline operations, support development teams in integrating products into Azure DevOps, and implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Computing: Experience with one or more major cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Version Control Systems (VCS): Experience with Git version control providers like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Scripting Languages: Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages (specific languages may vary). Scripting and maintaining build environments.
- DevOps: Experience with application DevOps, including actual development experience in an Agile environment. Manage, build, configure, administer, and maintain all components that comprise the DevSecOps environment.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Pipelines.
- Deployment Process Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring the deployment of software applications to production environments using automation tools.
- Infrastructure Management: Provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure resources (e.g., servers, storage) on platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestration tools such as Terraform or Ansible to automate scalable, secure, and resilient environments.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- U.S. Citizenship is required and must pass a background investigation
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; additional experience may be considered in place of degree
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools (Terraform or Ansible)
- Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI, and version control systems (Git)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and deployment process management
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting Government contracts
